Sitting side by side, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, are located just beyond the City walk. The City walk area is a myriad of unique shops, night clubs and restaurants. If you want more of the studios and their rides, which are geared more toward the younger and older ages, this is the park to spend the day in. If you want thrills and chills, close encounters of the face to face, then head over to the Islands with their spectacular coaster rides. With your feet dangling below you, you will speed through the area at one point coming within feet of the other ride. These "Dueling Dragons" are a thrill to anyone loving the high speed excitement of speed. The Doctor Doom ride is an amazing free fall that takes you up about 30 feet in the air and drops you so quick that a 200 man is literally lifted off his seat. Don't worry, the shoulder restraints will hold you in place.  Citywalk has many different areas in its expanse; including the shops, clubs and variety of restaurants.  In the entryway, it has a 20 screen AMC cineplex, shops, then the clubs start, which include Emerill's, Latin Quarter, The Groove, Cigarz, Red Coconut, Bob Marley's, Pat O'Brians, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, NBA City Cafe, Hard Rock, Hard Rock Live, and Rising Star.
Universal Studios is the park for movie rides and is made up of 6 areas; Hollywood, New York, World Expo, San Francisco/Amity, Kidzone and Production Central.
The Islands of Adventure is divided into 6 different areas with various themes: Seuss Landing, Marvel Super Hero Island, Jurassic Park, the Lost Continent, Toon Lagoon and soon to open the Harry Potter experience in 2010.
If you are a Halloween fanatic, during the month of October, one of the biggest Halloween spectacles in the U.S. is held. Here you will never know what you will run into, or what you will see. Ghouls, goblins, witches, wizards, zombies, crazies from anywhere and everywhere roam the park just lurking to scare the pants off of you, with many special enclosed areas that will horrify, frighten, terrify, terrorize, intimidate, appall, disgust, petrify and just outright scare you to death! Not for the faint of heart.
